Caregiver Strong Virtual 5K
How It Works
Starting on November 1st, participants will be able to complete the 5K "race" (about 3 miles) at their own pace. You may run all 3 miles at once, 1 mile at a time, or any combination that suits you!
Upon registration, participants will receive a link to a virtual race kit from SCRC, including a printable bib and a "Before the Race" guide via email with instructions on how to plan your 5K route and progress. After the 5K ends on November 30th, you will receive your personalized Finisher's Certificate via email.
All proceeds will directly fund SCRC's free support services for caregivers, including education and training, short- and long-term care planning, case management, counseling and support groups, and more. For more information about SCRC's mission and values, visit our About Us webpage.
Sharing Your Photos and Progress
We want to see your #CaregiverStrong photos! We encourage all racers to share pictures of their progress by:

Emailing them to scrc@caregivercenter.org with the subject line "5K Photos"

Posting them to Facebook or Instagram and "tagging" Southern Caregiver Resource Center
Purchasing Merchandise
Optionally, participants may purchase an exclusive Caregiver Strong 5K merchandise here. T-shirt cost is NOT included in the base registration fee; any participants who register but do not place a separate order for a T-shirt will not receive one. All orders are fulfilled by Redbubble, a third-party vendor.

Charitable Donation Receipts
If you would like to request a charitable donation receipt for your registration fee, please send an email to our Community Outreach Specialist, Jessica Romero, at jromero@caregivercenter.org.
Please note that T-shirt purchases are NOT tax-deductible.
